Who we are

Weddings Nosara is a wedding planning company based in Nosara, Guanacaste, Costa Rica. You can reach us at stacie@weddingsnosara.com.

What we collect, and why

When you send an inquiry. Our inquiry form asks for your names and email address, and optionally your phone number, wedding date, guest count, budget range, whether you have been to Nosara, how you heard about us, and anything you want to tell us. We use it to answer you and to plan your wedding if you go ahead.

When you fill in a guest travel form. If you are a guest at a wedding we are planning, the private form we send you asks for your name, contact details, flight and arrival information, and which activities you are interested in. We use it to arrange your transport and your part of the weekend. These pages are not indexed by search engines and carry no analytics or advertising tags.

When you browse the site. If analytics are enabled, we use Google Analytics to understand which pages people read and how they found us, and we may use advertising tags from Google and Meta to measure whether our ads are working. These set cookies in your browser. They tell us about traffic patterns, not about you by name. We do not run analytics or advertising tags on the private guest travel forms.

Where it goes

Form submissions are emailed to us through Resend, and inquiry details are also saved to a private Google Sheet so we can keep track of who has written to us. The site is hosted by Vercel, and our email runs on Google Workspace. Each of those companies processes the information on our behalf.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone beyond the vendors working on your wedding and the services listed above.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiries and guest travel details for as long as we are planning your wedding and for our records afterwards. If you would like yours deleted, email us and we will remove it.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by writing to stacie@weddingsnosara.com. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with the browser add-on Google provides.

Children

This site is meant for adults planning a wedding. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If we change how any of this works, we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
